Sciatica Pain Relief: 2 Ways to Stretch the Piriformis Muscle

Pain that starts in your butt and goes down the back of your leg is a sign of Sciatica.

Sciatica is a very common condition that affects most people at some point.  It is generally caused by one of 2 things, either a herniated spinal disc or piriformis syndrome.

The good news is that, at least in my experience, piriformis syndrome is way more common than a herniated disc.  I say that is good news because piriformis syndrome is much easier to deal with than a herniated spinal disc and at the end of the day what you want is Sciatica Pain Relief. Right?

If you are dealing with pain that starts in your butt and goes down the back of your leg, give one of these exercises a try.

If the exercises in this video don’t help, you may need a little more help and if that is the case, give us a call and we will take care of you.

Just note that if you are having weakness in your foot such as foot drop, where you can’t lift your toe when you walk . . . you need to be seen by either a chiropractor or a medical doctor pronto because that could be serious and need immediate attention.

Again, if you still need help, call us at (417) 598-0080 or just click the button below and schedule an appointment online.
